Ray Schey

Ray Schey is the Market President & Publisher of the Phoenix Business Journal, a weekly business publication reaching 40,000 business professionals in the Phoenix, AZ area. Ray is responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of the publication including revenue, editorial content, circulation and all business functions of the business journal. 

 

Within one year of joining American City Business Journals, Ray was promoted to the role of Publisher in Phoenix in May 2014 following a brief role as Director of Advertising at the Milwaukee Business Journal. 

Prior to his roles with American City Business Journals, he was the Director of 

Advertising at the Rochester Business Journal and spent his earlier career in sales and sales management in radio and television.   

Ray is a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership and serves on the board of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He is also a board member of Downtown Phoenix, Visit Phoenix, the Arizona Tech Council, Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation Board and the Valley of the Sun United Way. 

Ray received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University in Journalism.
